半年多没有更新博客, 一方面是因为懒惰, 另一方面是”过高地追求”自己的写作质量. 由于技术的背景, 经常会看到很多高质量的文章, 因此也要求自己的产出能够达到那个水平, 而本身的写作能力和思考习惯是需要不断练习和培养的, 也就掉到了一个恶性循环中.

要保持对自身的高要求, 保持对周边事物, 信息的高度敏感, 保持学习的态度和精神. 同时不要对自己不擅长的部分过于追求完美, 注意培养自身的动机.
另外, 担心失败也是重要的一点, 这个问题从写作延伸到人生的各个方面. 在选择的时机, 越是关键的时刻, 越是当你有一定成果的时候, 对于失败的担心也越限制我的冒险精神, 而没有冒险就很难获得更大的成功.

Bezos认为允许公司犯错的大小也要随着公司而成长, 媒体称他为 “big fan of failure”.1 姑且不论运营公司的策略是否合适, 对于我们自身确是有启发的, 在人生的选择上面要敢于承担失败, 也要提前做好准备.
说到准备, 或者说思考大家都知道是很重要的, 古语有云 “凡事预则立 不预则废”. 现代营销学畅销书作者 Allan Dib 也有60/64的失败源于对营销计划的失败2. 而计划又是困难而抽象的. 以我自己的经验, 对于抽象的事情本身就是排斥的, 我的理科思维倾向于解决确定的具体的问题, 而思维习惯上又是倾向于规避困难的问题. 而解决这个问题, 除了意识到这个问题的重要性之外, 也要简化和具体化这个问题. Allan Dib 将企业营销计划变成几个问题, 通过一页纸的形式呈现出来, 个人的规划也是如此, 极致简化.
首先要做出规划, 然后要坚持. Adrain Colyer的morning paper可以说是一个很好的榜样. Adrain是伦敦红杉资本的VP, 为了扩展自己的知识领域, 每天会选一篇计算机领域的论文, 阅读并做分析. 他分析的论文领域甚广, 从硬件, 安全, 到机器学习. 从2014年到今天, 每个工作日一篇论文, 从未停歇. 他很谦虚的说自己在这些领域都不是专家, 但是保持着一个学习和分析的精神. 3
无独有偶, 前Google Brain负责人 Andrew Ng在被记者问及如何才能更有创造力时, 他说他的创造力来源于不断的学习. 当面临未知的领域或者迷失方向时, 多读, 多学, 和专家交流, 慢慢会找到合适的方向. 4

I don’t know how the human brain works but it’s almost magical: when you read enough or talk to enough experts, when you have enough inputs, new ideas start appearing. “When you become sufficiently expert in the state of the art, you stop picking ideas at random. You are thoughtful in how to select ideas, and how to combine ideas. You are thoughtful about when you should be generating many ideas versus pruning down ideas.”
越是迷茫纠结的时期, 越要加强自身的学习, 持续下去, 相信会有很大的收获.
